as ~~some~~ a handful of you might know, i wasnt really excited for the hong kong trip even the day before i board the plane and the reason was because i went for the trip thinking that one of them was kinda looking forward to the trip so cher phang and i should just go as we'll feel bad towards tat person should the trip get cancelled because of us...

after we had paid the deposit, i was told by one of my friend that actually, that person went for the trip thinking that it is us tat wanted to go so she also just went ahead... when i heard that, my first thought was really "What The Fuck?! Cher Phang and i paid the deposit thinking that she wanted to go"(btw i was nt mad at anyone... its just that WTF feeling) and i was seriously thinking of forgoing the deposit and just forget about going because honestly, i would rather go to other places like JB which is way cheaper in terms of spendings and transport... plus that time, i had close to zero confidence that our itinerary was going to be interesting (which was why i brought my ipod touch that was preloaded with lots of music videos etc and my phone which i had uploaded tons of new songs... i even specially bought a monopoly deal deck in case we were really bored)

but in the end, i still went as what my other friends said makes sense too (since deposit has already been paid, just go for it... besides, you can lookout for them) and for me i guess the trip was not tat bad but it could have been better...

so a few weeks after the hk trip, i had a chance to talk to this friend and she confirmed that she went thinking that cher phang and i wanted to go and i told her that we thought she was the one that wanted to go instead...

honestly speaking, i really wished that i had clarified this with her before paying the deposit... cause if we had clarified this before we went for the trip, then we would have saved like nearly $1,000 SGD per person... and its because of this freaking hk trip tat i have to really watch my spendings now cause i spent like nearly half of my savings on that trip alone... and i still have a pending genting trip as well as a possible cruise.. not to mention that im completely relying on my savings now whenever i go out because i DO NOT get any pocket money during holidays...
